Ahem...

I found this sticker on my desk at work today. I'm not sure if it means that someone thinks I'm a nerd, or that I *heart* nerds. Is it because I like to do logic and variety puzzles everynight before I go to sleep? Or that I bring my own lunch to work everyday? Is it because not only do I own a 4' T square but I also use it? hmmmm.... I am a tad bit suspicious. This feels a little like jr. high all over again. Maybe it's because my glasses look an awfully similar to Monsieur Giraffe here.

Or maybe I do have a soft spot for nerds after all? ummmmm...

Sunday morning. Just went for a long walk, got me a large english breakfast tea all milky and sweet and just kept walking. It's my favorite kind of morning. It's early, no one is out and it's quiet still, and it is a bit on the cold side. The sky is gray and it makes me feel alive. I'm baking scones this morning. Apricot/white chocolate with a cardamom,vanilla bean glaze. Then a bit of drawing, some sunday NY times reading and back for a nap. My soundtrack for today? An old fav... throw me to the statues.
